Full IP report

What is my current location?

The My Location tool shows your public IP address and an approximate map position. When you allow browser geolocation, we display GPS-based coordinates; otherwise we use IP-based geolocation, which is less precise but needs no permission.

Your public IP is assigned by your ISP or mobile carrier. It may change when you reconnect, use a VPN, or switch networks.

How does this tool work?

Click Allow Location in your browser to use device GPS (best accuracy on phones and laptops with location enabled). If you decline, we still show your IP location from our geolocation databases.

We do not store your GPS coordinates after you leave the page. The IP-based result is the same data you would see on a full IP lookup report.

Privacy & security checks

Along with location, you see whether your IP appears to use a VPN or proxy, DNS blacklist status (when supported), and connection type (residential vs hosting). These signals help you understand how websites may classify your traffic.

When to use My Location

Share your area with friends

Send your map link or IP report so others know which city or region you are in — without guessing.

Check VPN leaks

After connecting to a VPN, open this page to confirm whether your public IP and country changed as expected.

Travel & remote work

Verify which country your traffic exits from when using hotel Wi‑Fi or mobile roaming.

Frequently asked questions

How can I find my exact location?

Allow location access in your browser for GPS accuracy, or rely on IP geolocation for an approximate city-level result.

Why does my location look wrong?

VPNs, corporate networks, and mobile carriers often route traffic through another city. IP geolocation is approximate by design.

Do you track my live location?

No. We show a one-time snapshot. We do not provide continuous live tracking.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes. Enable location services in your phone settings and allow the browser permission when prompted.

Is my data sold?

We use data to operate the service and improve accuracy. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
